Pam Wegener and Tom Smrdel will both join us here at CSU to pursue their MS degrees in Watershed Science. In Pam's previous work she used isotopes to reconstruct 30,000 years of monsoon climate in East Asia. Pam will join us this summer to start field work in Rocky Mountain National Park and the Pingree Park campus. Tom has been working on river restoration projects as a consultant at Tetra-Tech for 7 years. Tom's work will focus on the Central Platte River restoration project. We are very excited and pleased to have Pam and Tom joining us!!

Thank you for visiting the watershed research group at MSU. We are interested in understanding the physical, biological, and human influences on hydrological, biogeochemical, and ecosystem processes. We use spatial and temporal analysis to uncover the fundamental controls on watershed function.
